Rocky Robotiqs is a learning program based in Broomfield, Colorado. We coach VEX IQ teams through summer camps and the full robotics competition season.
Our story
Built by engineers,
for the next generation.
We started Rocky Robotiqs because we kept seeing a gap. Kids love robots and seeing them in action, but had no way into robotics that would prioritize their learning.
Our teams develop valuable skills across a multitude of areas: robot building, programming, documentation, interviewing, and communication. They have consistently won awards at the Colorado local and state stages, and now compete at the world stage.
The RECF VEX IQ competition season runs year-long. We're here for all of it.

Our approach
We don't hand out answers.
Students are mentored through a student-centered, problem solving lens. We don't just give them answers, we instead work through every step of the solution with them until they understand what is required to reach one themselves.

We build understanding from the ground up. Building, programming, documenting, and interviewing are at the core of what we do.

Coaches guide the path, but students drive the decisions. They own their robot, their program, their strategy, and their wins.

Rigor and joy aren't opposites. The most fun comes from doing something hard and watching it actually work.
